COMET 2003 K4 (LINEAR) - PHOTOS AND OBSERVATIONS. Possum Observatory

Comet 2003 K4 (LINEAR) should be at its brightest on the 28th October 2004 when it may be about magnitude of 5ish and a Declination of -18* (with a rather low elongation of 25*). The following was extracted from GUIDE 8.0 software...

Orbital elements:
Eccentricity 1.0003240
Inclination of orbit 134.2528000 degrees
Argument of perihelion 198.4404000 degrees
Long. ascending node 18.6754000 degrees
Date of perihelion JD 2453292.21480 (13 Oct 2004 17:09:18.7)
