Comet 2001 Q4 (NEAT)

Below is a photo of Comet 2001 Q4 (NEAT) taken through (prime focus) my 41cm (16") f4.5 Newtonian with a Canon EOS 10D digital camera.

This SLR camera allows interchangeable lenses and a 'B' setting for time duration exposures.

The exposure was 1 minute and the camera was set at 3200 ASA. It was taken on the 29th Jan 2004 at 0.5 UT. The FOV is about 42' x 28'...
