    SAGITTARIUS (the archer)

Sagittarius lies in the extremely rich and bright region of the Milky Way. Under a dark sky the galactic bulge of our galaxy can be seen to splay out like an elliptical balloon. Scrolling through this constellation reveals myriads of clusters, nebula, and more. The stars of the constellation appear to resemble a series of quite large triangles. Check it out with binoculars or a rich-field telescope - you'll never forget it!
