COMET 2001 Q4 (NEAT) - PHOTOS AND OBSERVATIONS. Possum Observatory

Comet 2001 Q4 was discovered by the NEAT (Near-Earth-Asteroid Tracking Team (Jet Propulsion Laboratory))... on 24 August 2001. At discovery it was magnitude 20.0. It is expected to reach magnitude 3ish on the 7th May 2004 in the SSW evening sky in Canis Major with an elongation of 75° and a distance of 0.320 AU (48,015,000 km).
