I am not certain but it SEEMS from my images over the last few days that Q4's tail has changed from a thin gas spike on the 10th April to a fatter 'fish tail' on the 13th, to a short fan shaped dust tail with no gas spike on the 14th April. Am I correct? These three images were taken with the same telescope and camera. The settings vary slightly, but even with longer exposures taken on the 14th the tail is not evident - unlike the 10th and 13th... CLICK ON THE IMAGE TO ENLARGE.
